Buffalo introduserer en minimal ekstern haddisk med SSD-basert lagring

Buffalo Technology lanserer en ny ekstern harddisk i MicroStation-serien. Størrelse og energiforbruk holdes på et minimum gjennom en SSD-disk som også gjør at enheten er svært stillegående. Den energieffektive SSD-disken gjør at brukere av bærbare maskiner ikke trenger bruke unødvendig mye batteri fra pc-en sammenlignet med tradisjonelle eksterne harddisker som tar strøm via USB-porten.
Med en vekt på beskjedne 62 gram og mål på 57 x 13 x 98 millimeter (B,D,H) er MicroStation SSD perfekt å ta med seg i vesken. Enheten har en glanset svart overflate og finnes i størrelsene 32 og 64 GB. Overføringshastigheten er på opp til 480 Mbps.
MicroStation SSD inkluderer programvaren Secure Lock Ware™ for Windows® PC som krypterer data som lagres på disken for å beskytte sensitivt innhold på disken. Backupløsningen Memeo™ Autosync er også med i pakningen.
Pris og tilgjengelighet
MicroStation SSD er tilgjengelig på markedet i løpet av februar og distribueres i Norge av Actebis. Garantitiden er 2 år.
